Intertwining reality with imagination, graffiti artist KAWS never failed to do so with his x’ed-eyed monsters wrapping around super stars (such as Cudi and Kanye). Because of admiration, I always wanted to produce my own versions of this concept but I never got around to it because… Well, I needed pictures.
Which brings Mr. Christopher Columbus Nguyen, a “picture taker-er.” I told him about KAWS and the instant response was, “I’m down.” So we went.
